It has been awhile since we has a Passion Of The Nerd review but here is the latest on the film that instigated the TV series BtVS. And yes, the TV series is much better than the movie.

I caught the tail end of Buffy the series when it was still airing. I've just recently starting binge watching it from the start. I'm glad I did. :)

My chief memory of the movie is PeeWee Herman in his comeback role as a peculiarly disgusting vampire.

Would be my excuse to watch the movie, but I keep reading how he's been left on the cutting room floor, but not according to this. :o

I must admit, I really liked the movie... and even saw it in the theater when it came out. When I first heard about the show, I was really excited... with my biggest hope being that it would have all the snappy, clever dialogue without the extreme campiness. Really glad I got my wish!
