An airline commercial on the tele just caused another one of last night's dreams to spontaneously erupt into my brain.
I dreamt that I was watching a live theatre enactment of Millenium (the brutally bad 80s
sci fi film with Cheryl Ladd & Kris Kristofferson).
The theatre experience had the audience lined up along both sides of the long, narrow stage - which was the set for the interior of the airplane - so that their toes were pretty much under the stage/fuselage. Picture a long dining room table, seating 24 guests - with the play, airline seats and all, occurring right on top of the table.
The big woo of the play was the swapping of bodies scene. The intruders appeared at the back of the plane and levitated the prone bodies up, then off stage with them, bringng back other bodies. The trick was the levitation, which was done in very dim lighting. The victims had sheets draped over their naked bodies (as if everybody had been on hospital guerneys). Remember, the audience is like, two feet from the action, and looking up. We could see their floating bodies from underneath.
The trick was pulled off, in dim light, using something akin to that 'levitating under a blanket using two brooms with shoes on the end' trick.
