Movie report.

I just watched House of Flying Daggers by myself and I was very impressed. Even if you're not interested in the whole "Cantonese sword drama" deal, you should give it a view. You might be turned off by the fact that it's entirely in subtitles, but the movie's so beautiful it matters very little. The story is also grand, although it's very much like Romeo and Juliet. There are some corny special effects but it doesn't get too far out, and they seem to fit the genre. The acting is very well done, especially by the lead characters. This movie, along with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, make me want to go a little deeper into the area of Chinese cinema. It definitely seems very interesting.

There's no other news, really. My birthday is in a week and a day, hurray.

...But I still don't really know what I'm doing for it.
