unhappiness

It's times like these that I hate indie wrestling.

I hate seeing my friends being forced into, regardless of what they choose to do, ultimately getting less experience and making less money, due to two promoters being at odds with one another. The young talent, looking to gain experience and get somewhere, shouldn't have to suffer and get less work because of a disagreement between promoters.

To clarify to those who may think otherwise, I have nothing to do with AAW other than performing in my role as a manager on the shows. I'm not an owner, I'm not a promoter, I'm not a booker. I work the shows there because they are a fun time, and I get a chance to see friends there, and it's been a blast managing Trik, which is something I haven't had a chance to do anywhere else. I truly feel that what happened this past Saturday... should have never happened. All it has done is cause problems for everyone involved, in so very many ways. But there's no changing the past. On that night, the powers that be in AAW made a choice to do what they felt would get them a lot of attention on the indie scene... and Jimmy Jacobs, as he's stated, did what he felt was needed to put some much needed money in his pocket during the holiday season. I think everyone can agree that the whole mess should've never taken place. But it did.

People move on. Shows will roll on. It's wrestling, and there's always going to be bad blood wherever you look. It just sucks that the bad blood at the top trickles down to effect other people in negative ways, who really don't deserve it.

Remind me of the times I *like* indie wrestling again??...
