cheesesteaks are gross
Saturday afternoon will be the first IWA Mid-South show on the east coast, which kinda makes no sense since it's named Mid-South, but hey running in Chicago and Iowa makes just as much. Philadelphia, PA at the old ECW Arena, as part of a double header with CZW that day. For a lot of the IWA kids, it'll be their first time working in that historic building, or even working on the east coast, period. For me, it'll be my third show there (the first two were for 3PW and CZW in 2002). Larry Sternshein brought up a weird point the other day, that we're just a couple weeks away from it being TEN YEARS since the first time we went to that venue as fans in the summer of 1995. It was an ECW show (with that Ian vs. Axl Taipei Death Match), and we sat in the bleachers along with Joel Gertner and Dave Lagana. Becky Bayless was running around the crowd, being all 13 and whatnot. Time has flown by. This should be a crazy and very memorable weekend with all the shows going on in that part of the country within the span of three days.
