Illuminating the 'no' on the vacancy sign

Its been forever but I've been busy.

Staying up at Anna's cabin was a lot of fun.  We went tubing down Provo river twice and took a fantastic nap in the hammock.  That hammock is pure love.  Spending time with Anna was great, especially since its going to be awhile until I come home to play.  On the July 1st, David came up.  Anna, Ella, David, and I all played for an evening at some 24 hour diner.  It was great seeing Dayv... especially since the next time I see him will probably be when he is headed off on a mission.

My guitar has been a haven of comfort the past few weeks.  Music is a great outlet and more productive (not to mention less time consuming) than sleeping frustration away.  I've been trying to learn some Death Cab songs.  So far I've got the cords down for "We Looked Like Giants," "Soul Meets Body," and "I'll Follow You Into the Dark."  I heart Death Cab.

Adam was gone to Hawaii for 2 weeks.  That was pretty tough.  The phone became a good companion during that time.  But he came home last night bearing gifts, so all is well in Zion.  And I racked up quite a few points in his absence that I'm looking forward to redeem.  Dating points, of course.  Looks like I'll get him to take me rock climbing yet.

In other news, I had an accident at work yesterday and spent a good portion of the day in the ER.  While preparing to unload one of the trucks I dropped the tailgate on my foot.  It hurt a lot, so I hopped over to a place to sit and took off my shoe.  My sock was covered in blood.  At that point I lost it.  Co-workers (Paige, Whitney, and Rory) took me to the ER and I was treated for a fractured/lacerated big toe.  This event marks the first time I've broken a bone and first time I've received stitches.  I'm on crutches at least until tomorrow when I go to see a doctor at the Hellth Center.  It sucks to have the pain, but pain killers are amazing and the royal treatment from Adam is pretty nice.  Having a little time off from work will benefit my school work.  So out of accidents come blessings.

I <3 Adam!!!
