Retirement and Groceries
Just woke up after napping for about 4 hours. I should have napped earlier in the day. I spent most of the day working on an analysis of my retirement account from my previous employer. The good news is that the picture isn't as grim as I thought it was. The bad news is that it is still in the red.

They've been rearranging the Giant where I do most of my grocery shopping. I spent a lot of time wandering the aisles today looking for raisins and peanuts, which I eventually found. While wandering I noticed that the new signs that hang above the aisles are only in English. The old signs were in English and Spanish. I'm not if this is short-sightedness on the part of the management or an indication of something more sinister. There is a large Latino population (many of whom are first generation immigrants) in Takoma Park what sense it makes to take down the signs in Spanish, unless of course you don't want them shopping at that Giant.
