Although it's totally awesome, my lack of time to play the game is not. Heck, I don't even have Raspberyl (who is absurdly cute looking, btw) in my party yet, and she's the main heroine. The game actually has four main characters this time - up from Disgaea 2's two (there were three in the first game) - and so far, only three have made an appearance. Mao and Raspberyl are awesome, and Almaz is way more entertaining than I was expecting as well. He's got a lot more personality than the main guy in 2, who was yet another "hot blooded for justice" type that wasn't especially memorable. Maybe he got more interesting later in the game, but I never got quite that far.
At any rate, Disgaea 3 is totally awesome. I have no idea if they're planning on releasing it in the US or not (I would guess that they will, but it'll be a little while), but I sure hope so. More people deserve to play it. It's not a big change over the first two in terms of system, but the whole things just works, and it's a joy to play. The level meter also goes to four digits, which means you can play it for a looooong time if you are so inclined. I'll be lucky if I can just beat the game once. *laugh*
