Happy happy joy joy...
Hmm... interesting week of work..
And by interesting I mean mainly crap.
Things were of course not helped that several things that I am not happy about cause my subconscious to give me rather nasty dreams on Monday leading to me waking in a cold sweat at 4 o'clock in the frakking morning. Grr!
I then have long debate with my brain the following day, agree that we know what is causing unhappiness and that lack of sleep won't help anything at all. Result of this was a rather amusing dream featuring Weebl and Bob mocking Orange Broadband the next night. Yes, I even have geeky dreams :)
SO I is not entirely chipper at mo (actually far from it), but don't particularly want to do a big goth post.
So instead I thought I may highlight something I noticed this week.
Much has been mentioned of Godwin's Law - as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one. There is also a law that I experienced on Tuesday at an IT conference - no matter what topic of conversation is started at an IT event, as time goes on the probability of a rant on why Linux is so much better than Windows increases exponentially...
(I actually agree with this point as it happens but find small talk much more enjoyable than ranting at people who feel the same way anyway...)
