What is it about accents? A woman who speaks with the same accent as I've used for the last decade is not terribly interesting. A woman with a British or Irish accent melts my knees. Why?
An attraction to the exotic isn't sufficient explanation. My tastes tend to very tall or very short women, with dark hair and light skin. Green or grey eyes preferred. Not exotic, much, for the U.S. But if they have a local accent, they have much less of a 'Rowr" factor than if they have the aforementioned accents.
You would think a taste for foreign accents would tie to a taste for foreign appearance, but accents seem to hold sway way more than appearance.
