i think they go hand-in-hand. if you don't have ambition what gets you through the tough times in relationships? you needs goals/desire/purpose to keep you going through life

purpose and goals and desire... important true...

i think purpose is not at all the same as ambition, especially from a christian standpoint, we all have purpose inherantly... goals and desire are mos def important, but what can they do with no action...

i think relationships are more more integral than ambition... maybe both are important, but not equal i don't think...

and the original question is funny, dave... i think it's kinda an odd choice of "what is life about?" but interesting nonetheless...

yeah. i think differently in the middle of the night when i can't sleep. i was just figuring that life was about one or the other, since they are the only things that seem to make me happy and inspire me to live life fully. but then i got confused as to what living life fully really was when my ambition gets in the way of my relationships and relationships get in the way of my ambition. i don't know.

yeah. i think i like both. they both keep me going. but it's hard to let one get in the way of the other. that, i have no idea how to do.
