saturday! saturday!
we slept in till mega awesome today and then went to whereever that area is that has the huge lantern and nakamise street and then went to that one dude from church (with the sister who's married to that guy-japanese names are hard to remember) family's house from where we could watch the fireworks, which are the biggest in japan. they went off for about an hour, and were set off from two separate places at the same time. we were a bit away so we could see both and it was awesome.
then we went with takashi, takao, and akako (?) to karaoke and the picture box thing.
then thom and i missed our last train and walked for an hour and half from the closest station we could get to. we pretty much got lost cuz u can't really follow the tracks, but thom talked to this guy who also kinda looked lost and was headed for tanashi, and together the three of us somehow made it back.
shower and sleep.
