Moving along
Books, life, the beasties... had a shrew in the kitchen last night - possibly an escapee from the cats or just wandered in to keep warm. I don't give the little fella a big chance of survival - he's found a crack too small for cats, for now. I rather like shrews, but I don't think B - or Australian customs would feel the same way ;-). Besides they have very short lifetimes for quarantine. Live fast, die young. Off to the farmers market this AM veg are nice and cheap there. At the moment my garden is pretty bare, but the first flowers have just started coming out on the peach. A bit bold IMO. we get snow here in September, often.
