Gardens

Nothing more disappointing than spending time in the garden chopping back the stuff that shouldn't be there, until the bin is full. Then you put it outside and look at where you have been working.

Still very overgrown.

Sometimes not being able to tell where you've been pruning, yet magically having more space, is a good thing and means you've done a nice sensitive job of it rather than brutal hack. :)

Nice of you to say, but I suspect that this bit of the garden would be best served with epic brutality. And possibly more space in the bin to get rid of it all.

Compost heap maybe? Or is there too much for that?
Possibly worth paying a man to come hack and dispose of it if it's that bad!

[btw thank you for ringing me the other day :) xxxxx]

It is at the very back of the garden - I've let the brambles and weeds go a bit crazy.

I thought that you generally didn't add too much thorny stuff to compost heaps, as it tends to be hard and not decompose well. But let me know if I am wrong.

Yeah - that was my Sunday too.

Much sympathy.

I'll try again this weekend, and see if I can fare any better.
