The other week keris and I went out to see Insane in the Brain by the Bounce dance company. I don't know very much about dance. To be precise, I know absolutely nothing about dance, but given the name of the show, there was no way that we could miss it. A dance version of One flew over the Cuckoos Nest was going to interesting as well.

It turned out that it was actually pretty great. The story translated well into dance, and each of the conditions had different dancing associated with it. There was lots of loud music, and funky lighting (Strobing and bouncing on a bed style dancing worked really well.) The most amazing bit was the dancing on the wall. They had the dancers harnessed up and on a wall. The ropes would yank them up and down the wall whilst they danced from side to side. This wall dancing (I don't really know what else to call it) was mind-blowing. You'd have a dancer bounce around and then suddenly plummet until they almost touched the floor.
