Managed to relax a great deal, and the weekend started with a trip into town to see The Satin Dolls I had bumped into them on Myspace, when I went looking for bands around Coventry. keris didn't feel up to coming out, but I popped in with a camera (No shock there!) and took pictures in really red-dingy conditions.
They are quite Riot-grrl, and though the rest of the band aren't particularly active on the stage, the lead singer makes up for that. She spent a lot of time waving the mic-stand at the front row of the gig. Of course, it was a local gig, and so every now and again someone she knew came in, and she bounced up and down and waved at them.
I'll be going back to see them again if I can :)
