Working from home.

Jan 18, 2008 13:24

Today I am working from home, due to the watery situation in and around Malvern. This means that I am actually getting on with some things that have been hanging around for ages, waiting for me to get the chance work on them uninterrupted.

The office is mostly talking about Malverns latest acquisition so I wouldn't have got so much done in there.

It also meant having a bit of a lie in this morning, which you can't complain about. I had a discussion on working from home with my boss during my appraisal, and he seems to be getting a bit more relaxed about the concept of me doing it occasionally. This is very good news, and should make things like trying to get to gigs in London on a schoolnight more practical.

The appraisal itself wasn't that useful, but there are a lot of unknowns of exactly what is happening with the acquisition of Viscotek. We will probably have to revisit what was said in a few months once things become clearer.

Right, on with work.
