Ride update 12/20
Two Monday's ago on 12/20 I rode to the bus stop and took the 50 express bus downtown to work, and after work, took the bus back to the bus stop and rode home. I had a cold over the weekend and didn't ride, paddle, or anything. I did some gardening. That's it. I haven't been back on the bike since because of lingering congestion, and rainy or cold conditions. But mainly because of the congestion.
I heard a piece on "Marketplace" on KPBS radio today on the expansion of bike paths in New York City. It makes a lot of sense to me.

Today, I picked up a copy of the free weekly SAN DIEGO READER. The cover story was on the increasing popularity of cycling, including bicycle commuting.
