okay, so i spent all yesterday dreading going to the red cross today, but knowing that i needed to get off my lazy butt and just do it already
so today i'm all ready, get up early, get dressed, snork down some cheerios, etc., call a cab...and 40 minutes later, when the cab hasn't arrived, call back
my street apparently is completely blocked off by fallen trees (despite all the cars driving down it...but whatever), rendering me incapable of finally stopping being lazy the one day i decide to actually do it
so this is ironic, yes?
but it gets better!
because at 1 pm i finally get a cab, go to the red cross, and discover...it's been hit by lightning!
the RED CROSS has beeen hit by lightning
i think i'll go stick my head in a hole now
