How will I ever find it again?
I read a bit of an old book online years ago, the only two parts I remember were the narrator talking about how love was a young man's game (thus why he was a confirmed bachelor) and then the part that I'm pretty sure lead me to the book about long clothes and short clothes for babies...you know how they used to wear long dresses till they started crawling and then they wore shorter dresses till they got old enough that they could start wearing gendered clothing? He was asking the baby's mom (maybe his sister?) WHY the baby wore long clothes and she was aghast "You aren't saying he should be in short clothes already are you?!?" When he really didn't understand why they dressed babies in dresses at all.
