Iron Man Anime - by Warren Ellis!

Apparently Warren Ellis (best-known to the masses as the writer of Transmetropolitan) is writing a crazy anime-style Iron Man series. The trailer looks fucking fantastic, and I have always LOVED Ellis's take on Iron Man. This looks exceptionally promising. If the series lives up to the promise of this trailer, I can very, very easily see myself

Actually, I haven't watched or read anything Ironmanish in the slightest! I should probably fix that soon.

I would strongly recommend Iron Man: Extremis (as I've said elsewhere in this thread). It's basically Warren Ellis re-starting the Iron Man franchise in his own image. New concepts, an updated origin story (which the live action movie borrowed heavily from), and basically a fresh introduction to the character. It's brilliant stuff.

Oh, also; I know there's a way to set up Li ejournal to notify you internally of comments as well as sending you e-mails. I've got it set up to do both. There's an LJ Inbox which such notifications get displayed. Monkey around with your settings a bit and you should be able to figure out how to do it.
