Watchmen is most definitely not my favorite Alan Moore work. (That'd be V for Vendetta, followed by From Hell followed by the first League), in fact, most days, the only nice thing I have to say about Watchmen is that Dave Gibbons is a damn fine artist.

And though I am sure I'll see the flick, this doesn't really excite me all that greatly.
