Where have I been?
So, it's either proof I live in a bubble or I've been so busy with school that I never heard about this...Canadian Tire has retired their "couple"!!!
Will and I were watching Air Farce and 22 minutes tonight and when Air Farce started to make fun of them being fired I was like..."WHAT!...I loved those guys!" Will said he hated them. I always thought the ads were good. Hey...I bought the fancy thin wiper blades from them last winter. The ads must have been effective because they sold out like Hot Cakes!
I just decided to find the article on CT dropping their couple, found this quote which I thought was funny: “I always thought what a horror it'd be to live next door to those two,” wrote reader Clive Gingell. “Everything YOU own is crap, and their stuff is better, newer, cheaper, more powerful and faster.”
The article also said how they were "Loved by some and hated by many." Guess I'm in the "some" :P
