On sunday
arminh and I went to see
The Terminal. Starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta Jone it's about a guy from a non-existent European country being stranded at JFK airport for several months after a military coup results in the cancellation of all travel documents to and from his home country.
Its fairly typical Spielburg in that it goes on a bit too long and has to have the heartwarming happy ending, but its a likeable enough movie - worth seeing IMHO.
Later on that evening saw the awards for the
48 Hour Film Project - we got to see all the films at the Showroom cinema and then a variety of awards were given. Unfortunately we didn't win any, but our film got a good reaction from the audience and that was more than enough for me.
Yesterday I went with
bonedancer and
pharrap to see
The Bourne Supremacy. Its a lot like the first movie so if you enjoyed that then you'll probably enjoy this - it had some fantastic moment such as one of the best car chases I've seen but the shakycam filming style made a lot of the action too confusing to follow...
