My weekend...

I had a pretty fun weekend all in all - I've already covered friday evening in my previous post so we shall move onto saturday...
I spent most of saturday reinstalling my games machine as certain experiments had rendered it *highly* unstable which was kinda dull but it had to be done. I spent Saturday evening up at kitten_star & gourou's playing video games and drinking a frankly horrific quantity of beer. Dangermouse and bassmonger were along for the ride. In a shock change of events we only played Mario Kart for around 45minutes, instead spending most of the evening playing the new Mario Golf game, which is so much fun there should be an advisory label on it or something :)
We also indulged in gourou's chilli and watched Shaolin Soccer, which is a great film, but *especially* when half-pissed and with friends.
Sunday saw me awaken with a terrible thirst, but considering the aftereffects I should have been suffering from I'll consider that one as getting off light. I went to see Spiderman 2 again with Dangermouse, bassmonger and gourou and it still rocked hard. After that I got some serious conterstrike time in for the first time in weeks and boy did it show - for the first couple of maps I was *very* shaky, but I picked up again and was doing much better later on.
And now I'm back to work. Damn.
