Update stuff

Right then, what have I been up to...
ickle_snarfles and I went to visit my family this weekend past. Was a nice time, and my sister and her bloke were up too. We went for a nice meal on the saturday night and then had a great fryup on sunday morning. Also got more birthday pressies, which is always a good thing (tm).
We took our dog, Fred, with us and it was something of a chore - she has a real phobia for diesel engines so by the end of the three hour journey she was seriously freaked. And was then intimidated by my parents' 15 year old and extremely small cat. Mind you Jenna is *utterly* fearless and has all the evil of gwengothelf *and* her EBT compressed into a bundle not much more than a four or five kilos in weight :)
Work's doing a fine job of pissing me off atm - I'm up to my eyeballs as the only techie, and with the exception of next weel I'll *continue* being the only techie til the end of July. Furthermore my counterpart/boss is leaving so my workload is about to go through the roof as I have to pick up her workload too. Not to mention get up to speed on the projects she'd been playing with that I won;t have any time to work on cuz user support in this dump is a full time job for more than one person :/. I find it entertaining though that certain people have an ability to annoy me to a certain proportion more than the rest of my job, yet if the rest of my job is getting me down they manage to raise the bar and piss me off even more - its quite a talent.
