You won't believe how bad a mood I was in last night. Well, I didn't take it out on anyone and no one offended me. But there was just this bitterness within me. It was so bad that I actually wondered if I have depression. What do you call this thing which I call "seasonal" though? Seasonal depression? Seasonal mood swing?
But really, if God isn't in my life today, I would probably be gone in this world already. There were and are times so bad that it was so hard to live on, and I knew in my heart that no one could help fix the things in my heart, only God can. I can't imagine how things would turn out if He isn't in my life. You probably wouldn't even have seen me through my 18th birthday.
His unfailing love reassures me a lot. It's not just that He's always there when I need help, it's the fact that He's always by my side all the time. Times like last night, it's always like "shit, I can't take it anymore, I need God" and I know He is always there for me. He's always my comfort whenever I feel unloved and worthless.
I don't know when this "season" is going to end before I will smile from my heart again, but I know one thing for sure - He will walk with me through the seasons. Friends can make promises to be there whenever we need them, but through these years I realise that whenever I need someone most, no one's there, but only God is found. Only God holds true His promises =)
