Update on School and Upcoming Events
School:
So far I still don't have a schedule, mostly in part to the school not assigning an Advisor yet to give me one. I'm debating finding the department head , giving him/her a call and seeing if I can't have them drop a schedule in my lap en lieu of waiitng for the 14th for them to give me an advisor. (Note, classes start the 18th, so I'd be a bit rushed to get myself organized. Hence the issue.) Nevertheless, I'm going back, yes, I am indeed excited.
Other Events:
Arisia is go! We will be there the whole weekend, despite my being in classes. It's the first semester, all the basic entry courses, so nothing I'm worried about falling behind in, I should be okay. Anime Boston is a go! Theoritically we had tickets, although we've not yet been responded to by the con. It's at the Hynes this time, so it'll have more space. I can't wait to go. Vermont is a go! Bringing the boys up to Smuggler's Notch during the off-season of our break for a week of relaxation and getting back in touch with nature. Yes, no internet for a week can be scary, I've survived it before though, and I'm not worried.
Side-note! Jess got an email from one of her resumes, and gave them a call back, it seemed to go well, hopefully they'll return her call and she'll get the job! Yippee!
