The theory of inversion, which allows an ant in a matchbox to claim himself captor of the universe.

Good news everyone, I've decided to update my journal for the first time in eons! Unfortunately for me it will contain nothing but plagiarisms, but I'm sure the rest of you will appreciate that. Had a nice time with Erica last night, and she relayed to me some entertaining bits from the radio (I was unaware that the radio was still in use, except in the 3rd world countries).

A group was asked to come up with an advertising campaign for something that doesn’t usually get advertised. They came up with:
“Get connected... with wires.”

On a different show:
“A religious, Christian message: Love thy neighbor - be he black, white, gay, straight… anyone. Forgiveness is essential. Except for the Jews because, let’s face it, they killed Jesus.”

On an entirely different note, I picked up Thomas More’s ‘Utopia’ again, which I have had to read in sections due to throwing it away every time I get bored or annoyed. A few paragraphs later I read, to my great amusement:
“They (the people of Utopia) are extremely fond of the mentally deficient and, though it’s considered very bad form to insult them, it’s quite in order to find their silly behaviour amusing. In fact, it’s thought better for them that you should, for, if you haven’t enough sense of humour to see anything funny about the things they say and do, you’re obviously not the right person to look after them. I mean, if you don’t value them even as a source of entertainment, which is the only thing they are good for, you won’t treat them kindly enough.”

The book has once again been thrown away. I will relay more if I ever get through it.
