So I barely got any work done today...
But I did pick up a midi/usb controller cable, and I'm quite pleased with it so far.
I've only tested out my mini lap-keyboard on garage band, testing the midi library out and the responsiveness of the controller...
Ok, that was the post I was going to do when I crawled into bed and fell asleep wednesday afternoon, which contributed to thursday and friday's WORKYOURSELFCRAZYBECAUSEYOUNEEDTOCATCHUP exhaustion, and now, I'm home. It's friday. I want to KILL PEOPLE.
Let me explain:
I worked 10 hours today. TEN. I would be normally exhausted if I hadn't ALREADY slept the sleep of the dead-tired-go-'way-ow-smeg zombie, and so now I'm just this side of insomniatic-why-can't-i-sleep-plz-god-lemme-sleep here in the heat, window open, fan on, stripped down to practically nothing trying to get some relief and rest when I hear outside... Fecking dance tunes. From way down-the-street-off-in-the-distance. With a DJ. Yes, I heard him too- there's nothing quite like STOP FUCKING PLAYING LIMBO ROCK AND I DON'T CARE IF THEY SAY ONE MORE TIME TELL THEM IT'S MIDNIGHT AND STFU NOW. Because I swear, they played that 6-minute smegger 3 times while I was cursing my digestive misfortune in the bathroom. I don't want to hear another macarena, casper slide part 2, locomotion, limbo rockgoesBAMF!sweary, electric slide, or ANYTHING ELSE RELATED FOR 6 MONTHS YOU HEAR ME WORLD? ;_; why won't they stooooop
