So, Schoolwork.

I've always had to juggle a balancing act of personal health, work, and relaxation (mental health!) into a dropped bucket juggle of sorts. You know, where that third object always seems to nearly hit the ground, just to be kicked back up at the last moment, in a haphazard juggley way, and nearly dropping one of the other two instead, ad nauseum.

It mostly works, but generally, due to the high value I place upon my physical and mental health, the one that tends to fall fastest and most, is the workload.
I mean, sure, I could sacrifice a night of sleep to work on my computer til the early hours of the morning, just to turn in that project, and then collapse with a migraine and exhaustion, and miss class anyway. And sometimes, that's exactly what I do, but mostly, if it comes to that sort of decision, I will work it up to a point, generally 2-3 am, and then write it off as hopeless for today, so I can at least attend the class, and keep up with what's being studied.

So, after getting used to a schedule like that, with weekends being a never-ending 'what's due when, and when, and when' and nibbling at the workload in little fishy bites, having a weekend where nothing much is due monday or wednesday or tuesday is a downright shock.

So, yeah, I didn't know much of what to do with myself this weekend, so I went to classes friday, came back, read some sherlock, did some work on my minecraft server and the wiki and its map, and then slept in for 16 hours saturday, and been up since then, working a little on the java project, and mainly just playing loads of minecraft.

To tell the truth, I expected to be asleep by now- it's rare I'm up much over 24 hours without ill side-effects, yet here, at least 27 hours later, and I'm wide awake yet, with no headache.

bored, sleep, college
