Day Sixteen - The Gang's All Here
Who: Johnny Snow, Tonks
Where: Outside. Somewhere between the dorms and Town Hall
When: Early afternoon

Summary: Johnny Snow arrives, in all his Parka Glory, and runs into Tonks. He makes a big show of acting the superhero, until she requests he take his parka off. He reveals a Captain Hammer T-shirt, and Tonks relives less than stellar memories of an earlier encounter, but finds that she likes Johnny a lot better. She shows off her magical powers a bit, much to Johnny's fascination, and he tells her about his Ice Beam and other faulty inventions. When they reach Town Hall, Johnny is a bit nervous so Tonks comes in with him to check in. Halo mentioned that Ice might not be there, but I think she is confused because she is playing Day 18 threads early. *slow nod*
He was waiting, totally prepared and on his guard, for Dr. Horrible to show up. Dr. Horrible was an Evil, and Johnny really wanted to fight the likes of evil, to be a Super Hero like Captain Hammer.
So he had sent a letter, challenging Dr. Horrible to do battle with him in Duly Park. And that's where he was now. Waiting. Knowing that Dr. Horrible would show up.
He expected the Doctor was just scared to face him. He was getting pretty tough. His chest swelled up with pride. That was it. Dr. Horrible was too afraid to face him.
"That'll teach him to mess with innocent citizen," Johnny declared to no one, turning away to walk home. He was going to send Dr. Horrible an email as soon as he got home.
But then, a bright flash of light, and suddenly it was as though he was being pulled forward, and he couldn't stop it. He turned, and tried to run the other direction, but his feet were pulled out from under him, and suddenly... he wasn't in Duly Park at all. He was face down, in a pile of sand.
...It was really sweltering hot in this giant parka.
