Who: Lily, Billy
Where: Lounge
When: Evening, during the party/quidditch match
Rating: PG
Status: Closed, completed
Summary: While she's hiding in the lounge, Lily is joined by Billy. The two chat a little, and Lily observes that he looks a bit like Barney. She also realizes he's a bit of a pessimist, though eventually she gets him to perk up a bit when he starts to think of his time here as a vacation. Lily compliments his eyes, which leads to him complimenting her everything, and shortly thereafter, the two are headed out for some frozen yogurt.
While eating and walking, Billy has inappropriate thoughts spawned by Lily's lips around her spork. When she catches on, she continues to tease, just a little. In the course of walking and chatting, the pair make plans to meet up again the next day for birdwatching and lunch before they part ways.
Lily hadn't been inclined to head out to the pitch. Or to the party. She wasn't up for encountering James again, and he was bound to be at one of those places. And really, she simply wasn't in a partying mood, even if he wasn't there.
So she'd retreated to the lounge, settling herself on a loveseat in front of the TV. She'd settled on some sort of nature program, but she was thinking more than she was actually watching it.
Her eyes were distant, her thoughts all over the place, her mind roaming away from the painful thoughts that had been plaguing her for the past few days. Any other night, she would have worried about someone roaming in, but tonight ...? Not so much.
The biggest risk she ran was someone else being antisocial.
