Day Eleven - Post 225 in DM, btw

Summary: Though he tried to hide from it, Remus is finally accosted by his best mates and told to explain just what exactly is going on between him and Tristan. He avoids the subject until asked directly and then admits they have something going on, and it's a wolf thing. James isn't certain how to react, but Sirius gets quite emo about it, believing both of his best mates are now ditching him for relationships.
The arrival of Tristan doesn't make things any easier - James harbours no malice, per say, just feels generally awkward and doesn't know how to help the boy fit in, but Sirius has an extremely frosty reaction. Though Remus wants to take the opportunity to ditch the awkward to go shopping with Tris, he realizes that he would probably be in big trouble if he tried and declines, though he's a mite sour about it.
The conversation takes a decidedly brighter turn after that, as it moves to discussing hexing Severus. Remus is - predictably - against the idea but James is surprisingly for it. He's bottled up his emotions about it and they're slowly coming to the surface. Sirius is pleased. Set on public humiliation - though Remus still thinks it's a stupid idea - and deciding they'll get Harry involved, the three part ways to prepare to torment him at the party the next day.
He'd left the Quidditch game early and camped out in one of the far corners of the library until he really couldn't stand the inactivity any more. He couldn't believe how fidgety he was. Well. He could. It was an after effect as the moon started to wane. He got... antsy.
So, subtly, he slipped out of the library, heading for the dorms. He wasn't quite sure what time it was, but he thought that maybe if he moved really quick he could skip dinner and make a break for the staircase, and maybe avoid his mates entirely.
...Though, he really kind of doubted it.
