Summary: Tony - while waiting outside the lingerie shop - is greeted by Pepper. After a bit of back and forth banter, and some accusations, Pepper agrees to help Tony shop for a gift for his secret santa. Tony - being Tony - pushes and prods at buttons that he knows are there, dangling things in front of Pepper and generally trying to guilt her into coming back and being his assistant, but Pepper is determined not to be suckered into this again. When it all becomes too much, she takes her bags from him and leaves.
He was wandering through the Business District. If Pepper had really handed him her resignation slip (and really, he was skeptical about that. Who would give up on him?) then he'd probably have to buy his own Christmas presents.
