Day Two - Swimming

Summary: Unable to sleep late into the day, Pepper gets up early to take a swim in the ocean, where she runs into Heather out for a walk. They exchange pleasantries, and find that they actually have a great deal in common before heading to the cafeteria for breakfast. Pepper then retires to her room, and Heather takes off to go look around some more.
The water was warm this morning as she had hoped it would be when she retired the night before. She was glad that she'd had a chance to visit some of the shops after her encounter with Sirius the night before; the provided clothing, while comfortable, was not at all appropriate for swimming, and she'd been able to pick up a two piece bathing suit for a half decent price, after a little convincing of the shopkeeper.
She waded in, waiting until the water was up to her waist before beginning a leisurely front stroke as far as she figured she could manage and still turn around. She floated a little before heading back, using long, languid strokes to carry her closer to shore. Stopping when she could touch bottom again, she stood up in the water and surveyed the beach.
"Silly," she muttered to herself, "No one else is going to be up this early. I'm the only person around here with an internal alarm clock that wakes me up at the break of bloody dawn."
