Day Ten - Rustlin' Up Some Trouble
Who: Jayne, Piteraq, Ice, Wash, Laurel

Summary: Jayne and Piteraq show up and jaw a little about the differences between this and Riverfell before they decide to split up. Jayne heads to the beach, where he runs into Wash. They exchange pleasantries before Wash decides he should show Jayne around a bit. They find Kat, and she takes an immediate interest in Jayne. Wash bows out, and the remaining pair toss innuendoes around a bit, with Jayne hemming and hawing about where they should go and thinking he's gonna get caught any second.
Which, with the arrival of Zoe, is fairly prophetic. Zo' takes Jayne to see Ice, who very bravely sweeps Jayne's mind before offering her an ultimatum. Jayne chooses to stay in DauphinMare, though Ice binds him so he can't speak to Acevona about the place should he choose to sneak back over. After some very naughty thoughts regarding Laurel showing him to his bunk, Jayne heads out.
Heading through the portal was more than a little unnerving, but Jayne reckoned it weren't no worse than taking off from a planet in the black. Especially if you happened to only have a scrap of metal between you and said black. He'd been there, wasn't in a hurry to be so again, and decided it was far worse. So all in all, the trip over had been uneventful.
The very first thing that he noticed was that it was very bright. He hadn't really noticed the drabness in Riverfell, but he sure as hell would now. He blinked a little, and looked about to make sure his partner in crime had made it through.
