Icetenari regarded the list on her desk, one fingertip tapping absently at it. It listed the locations of each object, and some of them were interesting to her. She reasoned it was enchanted some how - Belle could neither see it through her eyes nor pluck the contents from her mind. Ice wasn't surprised; it would be a bit too easy if the others knew where to go. So she'd called her guards to her office and set them to the various locations to guard the items.
Jake was guarding the door to Tony's lab, where the two orbs were settled onto a shelf of miscellaneous parts. Jayne was set in front of a novelty store that had arrived when the wizards had come in force - they called it a joke shop. The sword was there on a shelf behind the counter - as if the cashier kept it there to deter thieves or intruders. The dagger was stashed in an unoccupied tree house, though she didn't draw attention to that with a guard. The vial of poison was tightly corked and sunk to the bottom of the pool. That, too, she left unguarded.
The twin goblets were decorating a table at the Italian restaurant near one of the promotional advertisement tables. Ice thought they looked a bit out of place - they were definitely Elvish made goblets, complete with runes etched around the rim - but there they were all the same. She had Wesley patrolling the business district in that area, pleased she'd been able to make that adjustment before things set into place.
The larger of the two shields was hooked into the branches of a tree. It wasn't deep in the forest, but it wasn't noticeable at first glance, either. The smaller shield was visibly perched on the porch of one of the unoccupied houses. The antidote, a tiny packet, was shoved between the pages of a book in the library.
The remaining two defenders - Jasper and Kyle - were moving between the town hall, the library, and the residences along the road to look out for the invaders.
Since she doubted Damion was interested in the items, she didn't put too much stock in them needed to have defenders. Thus, all of hers were placed in areas where they could see the front lawn and at least one of the portals.
