So, I leave for DC tomorrow. Friday is a lobbying day, Saturday an activist training conference, and Sunday a rally. George Clooney, Obama, Gayle Smith, and many more will speak at the rally. We are bringing 12 kids down. I have too much to do to go to DC. Dad and Allan came up last weekend, which was awesome. However, now I am slammed with work. I will have to lock myself in the Georgetown library every night this weekend. But I am looking forward to the drive, and getting out of Hanover. The term is already 1/2 over, which is odd. I may be at a Replenishing Democracy conference at Amherst for the spring/summer break. I really need a useless relaxing break, but it doesnt look likely. School is alright. I am trying to reorganize my lifestyle: more work, more exercising, more focus, less wasting of life. We will see how that works out. After this weekend, I am resigning from national Darfur work, which is a bit of a relief. I will work on genocide curriculum building and genocide education legislation, but that is about it. This summer I will be working more on editing fiction for the Contemporary, Pres Scholar work, and academics (imagine that being a priority). So thats the rough outline of things. I have a phil midterm to finish tonight, and reading for a socy midterm to complete. Then, I have to be on the ball with work this weekend, so monday is not a trainwreck. Luck will be required. Press on the rally and lobbying will definitely follow.
