I haven't posted since...June..*hangs head in shame* Yeah, it's been like that lately. I haven't even been on the computer much. I'll peruse my friends lists occassionaly, but I'm getting back into since the new TV season is almost upon us. Work has been kind of grr. I'm going to start looking for another job once the new quarter starts next week. Now that I'm in to the bachelor classes, they're all night classes so I need to get something that's day shift. Hopefully that has weekends off like everyone else. It's nice to go to the movies on Tuesday and have no one there, but I never get to see anyone or go home.
I haven't had time for much fannishness, but there are a few things of interest:
I've been enjoying the vids from vividcon.
I've been getting back into Due South and related fandom because of
misspamela's story
Weld. Cutter and Yount...honestly WTF? I made me want to reread all of
Kellie's xovers, which I did. Which led me to rereading all the DS stories that I love.
(Which also got me on a side tangent of thinking about a Supernatural/DS xover where the boys, who would have been teens when DS was on the air, are trying to get rid of a ghost that turns out to be Bob. Consulate haunting ohnoes! Dief and young!Sam bonding. Dean and RayK being jerks around each other! Fraser worrying about the lack of Papa Winchester! Dean drooling over the GTO! Arguments about wheither the goat or the Impala is better! Fun had all around.)
I bought the Heroes DVD set. The commentaires were great. Greg is such a ham.
I found Quantum Leap seasons 2 and 3 at our used book/DVD/CD store in town for a steal. I've been rewatching all the episodes. I'd forgotten how much I loved the show and how hot Scott Bakula really is. It almost makes me want to watch Enterprise...almost.
I really, really need to finish some writing. I haven't written anything in ages.
