Recommended reading: Ghostly Encounters, True Stories of America's Haunted Inns and Hotels by Frances Kermeen.
I hafta say I'm about half way through this book and I love it. The stories are so well researched and written that one cannot help but be in love with every story. The author spends time on every well known story from the Hotel De Coranado to Myrtles Plantation, to even the story of Robert the doll in the Artist's house in Key West. They separate each story into the history, the sightings, which rooms to stay in, the local food, and places of interest in the surrounding area.
It's a good read!
