Holy cow, I'm going crazy!

This week was my first official week on the job. That is, on EY's audit of DreamWorks. It's exciting stuff :) But I'm learning soooo much--first of all I'm learning how to actually audit, but more than that I'm learning that working 55 to 60 hours a week is intense. I've only done it a week, and I"m already kinda dreading tomorrow. It will definitely be good, and I'm excited about working and learning more, but it's all-consuming. I'm glad I'm only renting a room right now, because if I had a house to clean or anything like that, I don't know what I would do. I would only have time to clean on Saturdays but that's the day that I also need to shop, run errands, and hang out with people. This week I worked:

Monday: 8:30 am to 10:00 pm. Left at 10:30, got to hotel shortly before 11 pm.
Tuesday: 8:30 am to 11:00 pm. Left at 11:30 pm.
Wednesday: 8:30 am to 10:30 pm.
Thursday: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Friday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm *we got out early!!!

I'm making good money, that's for sure :) I'm learning about busy season though...I don't know how much I would really want to do this forever. 'Course I've only done one week. We'll see how it goes for next week.

On the weekend though, I went with Miss Natalie Bennett of Irvine down to the tidepools by Newport Beach area. It may have been a different beach though.

All I can say is, I'm already drained and tomorrow's almost here.
