[Recently, Dlanor has been understandably pissed off after the broadcast. It's been on her mind all day. She doesn't believe Ivan3 for a second, and instead of worrying about what's going to happen in the future, she's determined to figure out the whys and hows of this whole situation.]
Knox's 1st: The culprit is forbidden to be anyone not mentioned in the early part of the story. Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov must not be the person who orchestrated this move.
Knox's 4th: It is forbidden for unknown drugs or hard to understand scientific devices to be used. Mister Ivanov's broadcast is an obvious lie, as I'm sure everyone knows.
Knox's 8th: It is forbidden for the case to be solved with clues that are not presented. There were no hints whatsoever that we have ever been in Soviet Russia, so that cannot explain the mystery of Mayfield.
...I cannot allow this to continue. A mystery that so blatantly betrays its readers...I will not allow it to exist. There must be something I've overlooked. Why the setting of the game board has changed, why the pieces have been switched...this must all be another illusion for me to crush.
[Papers rustle as Dlanor begins to read through her notes for the umpteenth time.]
[An attempted filter to Ange, but there are no private calls in Soviet Mayfield!]
