[Dlanor is walking around town, a notepad in one hand. She makes clanking noises as she walks because she has recently acquired her BFG (Big Fucking Gauntlet). At first glance, there's nothing out of the ordinary ( Read more... )

That is a ....forceful punch, I must say.

[Laying flat on her back. There'd probably be stars floating around her head, if she were a slapstick manga heroine. Her tail is twitching]

My apologies, Lady Bernkastel. I didn't mean to hit you.

Really? Well, I suppose the town is messing with you, too.

[She gets up, is therefore somewhat close to Dlanor, which causes her tail to strike and attempt to molest DLanor in some way. Naughty tail. ]

Yes, I believe someone has tampered with my gauntlet. I...

[Backing THE HELL up.]

Please don't do that, Lady Bernkastel.

Do what? I am afraid I do not know what you are refering to.

[Tail twitches behind her, then falls down and does nothing, as if nothing has happened]

Your tail just attempted to touch me inappropriately. If you aren't aware of this, then I assume that you are having a similar problem to mine.

[She suddenly turns and punches a drone woman in the eye.]

Oh, it did so again. I see. If so, I suppose I should apologize.

Yes, I agree. The Game Master seems more interested in causing us grief than making logical moves, from what I can gather. This game is...frustrating.

It is somewhat pointless. The gamemaster is not even seeming to have a particular care to make their own pieces act in a coordinated way. Quite sloppy play.

Yes, it truly is sloppy. But their strategy may be to lull us into a false sense of security by playing badly.

Or they may simply not see it as a game we can affect in the first place.

That is also a possibility. And if that is the case, I intend on proving them wrong.

Oh, of course. Lambda thought so too about her game, and it was broken nevertheless.

Regarding this game, Miss Erika and I have another investigation planned. It was inspired by the events of April first. Were you able to speak with anyone on the phone that day?
