As some of you have realized, we still don't have a lead for our production of Steel Samurai. To that end, we will be holding some auditions. If you would like to participate, please reply here. He doesn't seem very happy in general.

I was hopeful that Giselle's return would draw him out of his shell a little. He seems to like her, doesn't he?

I think a heroic role would be just the thing for him. Build up his confidence, get him talking to his cast mates.

And of course, you could talk to him, daddy. I think he needs someone he can look up to.

He seemed... sad, and lonely. I talked to him before to give him a birthday gift. He seemed to like it well enough, and cheered up some, but he wouldn't talk about what he thought of the Way or how he was getting along. I'll make sure to pass by the Records room more often and drag him out, though!

But you're right, a heroic role would do him good. Perhaps a kid that saves the Steel Samurai and tries to become his sidekick?

Hmmm, maybe I should also talk to Giselle and the others about a cheering up gathering, once the bulk of the work is done.

You know what? I think we could still do some script revisions.

I was just thinking how funny it was that the name 'Pink Princess' was rather fitting for Giselle. Yet I still like Jean for the role.

So maybe we could cast Giselle as the Pink Princess's friend...and perhaps at some point the Steel Samurai's friend and the Pink Princess's friend could work together to save them. Then it could be one of those moral things about the power of friendship?

Hmmm, but I suppose we'd have to ask Giselle first. She does so much of the cooking, I'm not sure she could be spared from the kitchen.

That's brilliant, mommy! That way, he and Giselle can act together and have major roles without overshadowing the main actor! It'll give the new actor a break in the middle of the show, too.

As for Giselle... well, we did manage without her when she got left behind at Trewe, right? I think Watanuki and Tohru can handle it!
