Belial had set up a nice little table for two, complete with pearly white china cups and plates. Also on the table, Belial had set out some fresh fruit; grapes, apples, pears, and a few others

Ali knocks on the door, flowers cradled in one arm and a black cloche on her head.

Belial shuffled over to the door, opening it with a wide grin. "Ali! Might I say that it is absolutely lovely to see you!" Almost instantly, she noticed the Cloche. "And my, that hat looks wonderful on you!"

She grins, offering Bel the flowers. "Thank you! It's equally a pleasure to see you again, Bel. And thank you for the compliment. I thought, 'When in Rome...'. I hope the day finds you well?"

She beamed and took the flowers carefully. "You are most welcome! Thank you as well, for these lovely flowers." She held the door open for Ali. "Indeed it does. How has this day been for yourself?"

[vicioussweetie]

"It has been a very good day today, for I've had this to look forward to!" She steps inside, taking an appreciative breath of the mint-scented air.

"As have I." Bel closed the door and walked back to the kitchen, looking for a vase to put the flowers in. "Please, go ahead and sit down. I shall be there in a moment!" She said brightly.

"Thank you." Sitting is good, and she wastes no time in getting to that state.

Rather quickly, she found a vase. She poured some water into it before gingerly setting the flowers into it and brought it to the table before sitting down herself. She'd clip the stems later.

"Would you like some tea, Ali? I finally found the peppermint." Bel said with a little grin.

"I'd love some, thank you." She smiles. "I'm glad you found the peppermint. I hear it grows like a weed. Did it try to take over the bed it was in?"

She chuckled as she poured some tea into each glass. "Actually, I found it growing with some of the potted plants. It was fairly contained, which was probably why I had so much trouble finding it."

[vicioussweetie]

"Ah, yes, very sneaky. It must be ninja mint." She grins. "You're lucky to have found it when you did."

"Heh, indeed." She set the pot down and picked up her cup. Instead of taking a sip, she enjoyed the scent of it for a minute. "How have things been?"

"Good and bad in appropriate measure. You know how life is." She curls her hands around her cup, enjoying the warmth. "I'm trying to focus on the good."

She nodded, taking a sip of the warm liquid. "That is very good."
