its not really our circumstances
that make life intolerable
or boring or even unfair
its our selfishness
that makes life those things

life is this gift
this wonderful thing
that we can take into our hands
and mold
no matter where we are
we can do something
we can change ourselves
our minds
how we view things
its the static parts of us that kill us
and mold us into what it wants

for this reason
i constantly battle myself
because it doesnt hurt when you
fight against yourself
it might a little
but you cant run away from yourself
you can hide
i know i do
