Don't shut down!
I have been reading about this whole Livejournal might be closing down situation.
I hope it isn't true. If it is, I seriously neeed to back up my journal asap.
I have had it for 5 years and one day would like to read what I ahve been doing with my life...
So quick update:
- Today is my sister's talent show. She and her goofy friends are making fun of a popular 80's love song.
I hope it's funny. I have to record it...
- Work is busy which is a good sign. Some departments have no work...I'm lucky that is not me at this moment.
I am leaning towards finding a state job in the Court System. I went to a pretty decent Criminal Justice School and I'm not doing anytyhing related to that. It makes me sad, I want to help others. I think this finally gives me motivation to update the resume and look for something that is somewhat internally fullfilling. Ideally a job at planned parenthood would enrich my soul. (My number one interest is sex education & health plus women's social issues)
- I have a few things I want to do this year (2009)
~Find a good yoga class that is somewhat affordable.
I think after our bellydancing show in February.
Im going to try a different type of dance. (Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Salsa (again), another form of Tribal dancing, something)
~Travel up to Boston, MA
~Get another tattoo (Pref a pair of tattoos...the one at a time thing feels weird to me)
~Be financially responsible (I'm going to actually read that Suze Orman book I got as a birthday gift)
~Try out for the rollerderby team (Doesnt mean I'll get picked..but I think I would be a fabulous ref)
~Road trip to Indiana (Hopefully)
~Go to a drive through movie theater in the summer time)
~Buy plants my apartment needs some.
Ok..lunch is over..back to work :)
