The First in a Series of Announcements
It's official now (and has been for about a month)--I have been accepted into the University of Toronto Ph.D. program in English Literature.
I will be quitting my job at the end of August and start my new studies in September.
So it's for sure now, folks. I'm going to be an academic. The question is whether I will be an employable one or not.
But for now, it's 5+ years of poverty. Hooray!
