Tomorrow is the day...

Howdy friends and neighbors.
How are we all, today?
For me, things still suck a lot, but tomorrow could change that.
Tomorrow morning at 6AM I am to report to the Herrin Hospital for my surgery.
They're removing my gallbladder.
Most of you know I've been dealing with poor health for the last 4+ years.
Well, the doctors have all joined forces to tell me that they think my gallbladder is the cause of all of it.
I don't know if that's true, or not, but they all think it is, and I've really got no choice but to go with it and see what happens.
I've never had a real surgery before.
I mean, I've been put to sleep for oral surgery, when I had my wisdom teeth removed back in 2000.
And I've also been put out for 3 EGDs and 1 colonoscopy.
So I'm not totally new to all this.
But they've never cut me open before.
And that's what's got me so freaked out.
So many things can go wrong during this type of surgery, as the surgeon himself has told me.
He made sure to make the point that this is not a routine procedure, and there can be many complications.
So yeah, I'm freaked the fuck out about all this happy horseshit.
Anyway, I just wanted to drop you all a line, to let you know I'm ok for now, and we'll see how ok I am when the surgery is over.
My parents are going with me to the hospital, and I'm very thankful for that.
If the surgery goes perfectly, the surgeon said it could be a same day procedure.
Meaning, after I spend some time in recovery, if there aren't complications, I'll be going home later that evening.
If there are complications, I could be in the hospital for a few days.
SO, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and I'm hoping beyond hope that things go well and I get to go home very soon.
Then I'll just spend a few days in bed.

Anyway Cats and Kittens... take care, be good, see me soon, and talk to me sooner.
Stay frosty, everyone.
I'll attempt to do the same.

BRAD
